You can use USB 3.0 A to C cable if your laptop does not own any USB-C port. (This A to C cable is not used for Power Delivery but only for transferring data;please charge your laptop by the original power adapter.)

Notice 2: Dual 4K Display

There are two ports in each section(Display 1&2)that supports one monitor at a time, thus please choose the type of port you need.

Notice 3: Single 5K Display

5K resolution is accessible by connecting dual DP port together to a single display. For Windows up to 5120x2880@60Hz, Mac OS only supports up to 5120x1440@60Hz.

Attention

- The maximum resolution will be 3840x2160 (UHD) if both video outputs are being used.

-Max 5K (5120 x 2880@60Hz) resolution only via dual Display Ports with 5K monitor.

-Supports DP 1.2 and make sure monitor settings are configured to use DP 1.2 and not 1.1.

I decided to get the docking station due to a reliability issue with my laptop's external monitor port. The dock solves this by connecting easily to the laptop via its USB port - problem solved! It's also improved my set up substantially. This includes having both an Ethernet cable connection to my router, a stable printer connection, two linked external hard drives, and now a functional second monitor too. More functionality is always welcome, don't you agree? I highly recommend this product.

This dock has some weight to it and feels good quality. It had no issue outputting to my dual 4K monitors. It has a good amount of usb ports. I bought this multiple time because I love the multiple ports to dock my station. Good product and a necissity for me. I uses this product for 2 different laptops and all works very well.

I work from home and have a lot of stuff to plug into my laptop, so this hub is perfect for me. The cable that connects to the computer is a bit short, but other than that everything works perfectly and it helps me keep up with my cable management. This is a reputable brand which is why I choose it. Just as we know, it works great. Very happy with this item! Just what I needed for a simple one cable hookup to a laptop.Exactly what I needed! I've been using WAVLINK products for years. ...long before they were a recognized name! While I'm happy to see them grow, I'm even happier that they haven't let their reliability fall. These types of devices are essential for most folks work lives, so they MUST perform and be reliable. This one I boughr is small unit, nice size for my home office and looks solid. I just plugged everything in (two monitors, wireless mouse and keyboard) and was ready to work right away. Came with multiple cable adaptors for monitors.
